About Cassandra Cacace, Ph.D., LMFT

Dr. Cacace is the owner of Palmetto Therapy Connections, and a full-time Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Converse University. She is a member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She is also a member of the Upstate SC LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce and an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.

Dr. Cacace's goal is for you to feel heard and accepted as we create a therapy space together. Her approach to therapy is founded on Bowen’s Natural Systems theory and Postmodern theory (including Collaborative and Narrative therapy), with emphasis on understanding your emotional and family systems. Our work will be collaborative in nature; we’ll work together to explore how you understand your world and what you might want to be different.
